Just an FYI. My buddy bought a 7x19 Vnose enclosed legend trailer with a ramp door in pretty decent shape for $5000. I think these sort of items are not getting a lot of money these days since everyone is cutting down their recreational stuff. This was a $13k trailer new.

Yeah.. I drive a Subaru Outback. 7x19 isn't really gonna' do the trick. Well, it might do the trick once. After that... I'm not so confident.

I found one and I'm getting it tonight. Thanks for all the input, guys!

After I bought my trailer the manufacture quit selling through distributors and went direct sales. My trailer now would only be $4,800. All aluminum 1,550 lbs with a v-nose, aluminum wheels, smooth sides and low height. It only takes my gas mileage down 3 mpg loaded up driving 10+ over posted limits. I can see down the sides without extended mirrors (I drive a little Trailblazer.) and get it in a standard 8 foot garage door.

That's pretty baller. My car can only pull 2,000 lbs. Well, that's what it's rated for. I try to stay below 1,500 lbs. as much as possible.

Comparison for you. I bought a brand new 6x12, about 6 1/2 foot tall, single axle, with rear ramp, side door, roof vent and interior light in 2007 for 4k out the door.

Thanks guys.. and big thanks to redkow for finding that craigslist ad. I brought the trailer home tonight. 5'x8' Pace American, 15" wheels, spare wheel/tire, 3/4 plywood walls and floor. Needs a good cleaning, but that's why I own a woman.
